CryptEU Forge
Build for protection.
A moderated space for open-source cybersecurity and digital freedom.
What belongs here
Defensive security tools, privacy software, educational resources, documentation and responsible research. Explain the purpose, authorized uses, setup and limitations of each project.
Review before publication
The CryptEU team reviews public profiles, projects, project updates and issues before they become visible. Approved versions remain public while edits await review. The team can reject submissions or withdraw content, including a profile and its projects. A review is not a code audit, safety guarantee or endorsement.
What we reject
Credential theft, malware intended for abuse, unauthorized intrusion, stolen code or data, doxxing, harassment, spam, secrets, leaked credentials and personal information without permission. Security research must have a clear, legitimate and authorized context.
Open-source and authorship
Only submit content you have the right to distribute. Choose an appropriate open-source or open-content license and include necessary copyright notices and license text in your project files. No payment is required to use the Forge.
Your public identity
Your chosen handle, public display name, bio, approved projects and approved issues are public. Your account email and private account name are not displayed. Handles and project URL names are permanent. Never upload keys, passwords or confidential vulnerabilities.
Report and appeal
Signed-in members can report published profiles, projects or issues privately to the team. For confidential vulnerabilities, copyright complaints or appeals, contact CryptEU. Include the content URL and explain the issue. Moderation feedback appears in your workspace.
Technical scope
The Forge hosts project descriptions, README documents and text source files. It does not execute uploaded code and does not yet provide Git hosting, clone/push, pull requests, CI or binary releases.
